As stated in the VFC Provider Enrollment Agreement, Maryland VFC Providers are required to receive annual educational training.
Completion of the 2025 educational training is REQUIRED for the following:
- Responsible Medical Provider;
- VFC Contact; and
- Back-up VFC Contact(s).
It is recommended that all staff that interact with the VFC Program also complete the training.
The 2025 VFC educational training requirement can be met by completing the stand alone “Provider SafeVax” online training or attending the live “Provider Safevax” webinar.
All VFC Provider offices must fulfill their VFC educational training requirement by November 13, 2025, in order to be eligible for VFC provider re-enrollment in 2026.
Webinar Training – Online
2025 VFC Provider training will ONLY be one session – lasting two (2) hours.
The live webinar will be held twice a month from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm or from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.
VFC providers will receive ONLY ONE (1) certificate of completion.
The 2025 VFC Provider SafeVax Training is an overview of the Maryland Vaccines for Children Program. We will examine the VFC enrollment agreements of the 2025 Maryland Vaccines for Children program. The goal of this training is to clarify VFC provider policies/procedures for the Maryland VFC Program.

2025 Stand Alone Training

VFC Providers have another platform to complete 2025 training. Through our stand alone platform, VFC providers will be able to access VFC required training at the time that is most convenient for them. The responsible medical provider, primary vaccine contact, and back-up vaccine contact(s) will need to complete the 2025 VFC Provider SafeVax Training to be eligible for 2026 VFC Program re-enrollment.
If you are a new user, you will need to register with a username, VFC PIN for your office, email address and password, to access the stand alone training. Once you have finished viewing the training, a quiz will appear at the bottom of the screen. You must pass the quiz with a 80% or better to receive your certificate of completion. Please either print or save your certificate for your records.
